    very neat

Very nice job. Couple question's for you though, what kind of control package are you running this with? That and do you service your install's yourself? Curious because I like to see a few more shutoff's myself...That way at two a.m. I don't have to drain the boiler to replace the expansion tank of the circulator. Or for that fact the fast fill.......Keep up the nice work
P.S. I'll let someone else pick on you about pumping away! :)

    boiler install

very nice work but you should have put the circulaters on isolation valves and is that teflon tape on the gas lines ?
  • Isolation valves

I agree with you, isolation valves are a good idea for easy maint. Once suggestion though, if I put an isolation valve on something like the expansion tank, I always take the handle off the valve put the nut back on and hang the handle nearby...

no teflon tape we used pro dope the white is the wire ties We sevice everthing we install oil, gas, heatpump and electric furnaces aslo 98% of the time we do install them pumping away.

    install pics

Pics. look like a nice neat job. But I woud have had the circ. pump on supply with expansion tank on low pres. side of circ. and water feed on high pres. side and as others have mentioned valve on exp. tank and iso flanges or more valves on each side of circ. I also do not see a LWCO but am assuming all radiation is above the boiler.

    Angel

Tony, you are destined to be an angle. As my daddy always said you gotta be plumb, level and square to get to pipe heaven. Good work. bob

Everything level and square , and easy to service . I , like you , take the minimalist approach in regards to isloation valves . A separate valve above each pump , and on each return , and you can isolate whatever you need with minimal hassles . Although I do like the idea of having valves on each side of the pump , I don't think them necessary on a part that will probably never be changed in the life of the boiler .
