I have a customer that wants to install Moderna Toledo Klick cork flooring and wants Climate Panels for the radiant.
Has anyone here done this and I cant find the R value for their product. I'm looking at the RPAs' flooring guide, but I havent found anything yet.
Any help would be great.

Literature I have from one of the cork flooring manufacturers states that underfloor heat is no problem with the product--you just have to account for the rather high insulative value of the floorin--fortunately it's not very thick!0 -
yeah I'm always surprised when I look at cork. I brace for heavy R value and always seem happier when I see the actual numbers.
ditch the climate panel Ted; go for raupanel. way better stuff.

I've done
two cork floor radiant homes now. The product used was a laminate and the actual cork layer was very thin, I'guess under 1/8". Some sort of hardboard core. These were T&G glue down tiles.
On job was a slab, and the other a Warmboard install.
Cork makes for a nice comfortable, quiet surface.

If someone in Southern MA stocks it I may look into.
So this finished flooring says its cork with UV hardened acrylic vanish 2.7 mm. HDF 6.8mm . Cork 1mm.
10.5mm in total. Would you agree that 1.175 is a good R value?
