Activating new circuts

I am going to fill two under floor radiant loops that I just finished this A.M. The question is should I turn the Vitodens to standby or
DHW then isolate all other zones and then fill and purge the 2 new loops? My concern is too much temperature differential going into the system.

When purging any boiler you should turn off the power.

Yup, should I wait for the system to come down to low temp before proceeding with the filling and purging ? Thanks Ted.

You dont really have to. Is it that you dont want 180 degree water to go through the radiant? Your purging and adding cold water so dont worry about it.

BTW, make sure to keep you water pressure up while purging the radiant. I'd say at least 20 psi. Obviously stay away from 30 psi so that you dont pop the boiler relief.

Thanks again Ted, the water temp is around 130 degrees at this point with O.A. @ 41, Love that reset.
