Steam returns

Have a job where the buried dry returns on one side of the building are leaking. The dry return for the other side of the building is large enough to handle the entire load so I am going to connect them and abandon the leaking return. There is one condensate drip where the main goes up over a doorway and back down on the other side. Is there any reason I can't re-route the drip using a loop seal and tie it back into the dry return?
Thanks

Loop Seal
should work fine. Make it at least 5-feet deep, this equals 2 pounds of pressure differential. Also install a drain at the bottom for flushing it out if needed.

Thanks for the reply
Steamhead. I didn't think it would be a problem, but this job has been one big headache. Nice to be able to get a second opinion.
