this book is not... Ok, this was a lousy trick to get you here, but I think it will be worth your while...

There's a book of Dan's that I picked up at the last Wetstock, called "Working". It was the best ten bucks I've spent in a very long time. It's a group of short stories, compiled and combined from real life. Some are funny, some are poignant, some offbeat, some unbelievable, some clever but all a good read.

There are 41 stories, about 5 pages each. Each will, I think, give you some insight and undoubtedly some will ring true and close to home.

It costs about $10 to get lunch in NYC these days, so "Working" is quite a bargain. And, as Dan says, "put a copy in your bathroom", and at least you'll get to enjoy the fruits of your indigestion.
