PAP Failures

I have been watching the posts regarding the Pex-al-Pex failures closely as our company uses this product for all of our supply and return piping(Radiant and high temperature applications), it seems like most of these failures are occuring in open systems, if anyone knows any different please chime in, one thing I find interesting is Wirsbo has let their certification for potable water lapse for their Multi-core product.
I heard this happened by accident but I find this hard to believe as this would mean losing market share, think there could be a good reason that Wirsbo did this?

Multicore NSF-PW
It is important to note that Wirsbo only had a listing for the pipe. In the begining Wirsbo only offered a compression fitting system and the fitting system was never listed therefore we only promoted the use of the MLC product in heating applications and we have never promoted the application of open combination systems.
Our current position is that MLC is for heating applications and that open combination systems are to be avoided.

Interesting.........
Viega recommends their PAP product (FoSta Pex) for potable water systems. Much less expansion and noise than regular pex. I don't know if there is a difference in the material makeup of the two brands or not.0
