WE ARE EXPERIENCING SEVERAL DIFFERENT/CONFLICTING INFO. FROM BURNHAM FOR SETTINGS ON LEDV BOILERS- REALLY COULD USE YOUR HELP ON THIS ONE DAN. INTERMITTENT LOCK OUTS OCCURING AFTER SETTING UP SPECS-THE BURNHAM REP TELLS US THAT EACH APPLICATION IS DIFFERENT-WHICH IS DIFERRENT FROM THEIR PRINT OUTS.... ANY ONE ELSE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS/FRUSTRATIONS??? HELP>>>>>>

    You gotta' dim the High beams. Take off the cap lock key, third one up on the left.

    I have installed at least 10 Burnham LE's, the only problems to date, a bad oil valve, and a cad cell that loosened up and fell {because I probably didn't tighten the screw] on an AFII.

    What do you have for a burner? what firing rate? Did you do a combustion test? with instruments?

    When I went to a jobsite in Lake George with your techs after the LEDV training I conducted at your shop last fall, we found several things with the installation unrelated to the spec. settings of the burner that were causing the difficulties you had on that job. Some of these were dryer lint and bees nests in the air intake and water contamination of the underground tank and fuel filter. When I left there that day, that one was purring like a kitten.

    If the job you are referring to is a different job such as the one on Great Sacandaga Lake, there are, as with all burner manufacturers, some different burner setup criteria to help overcome difficulties with possible venting conditions that occur with these in the field. Real short flex vent distances can sometimes cause burner operation difficulties such as loss of flame retention because of little vent rescriction.
