Leaking return manifold..need help

I instaaled my heating system this year and it has been in operation for about 2 months. The return manifold has flow meters on them. One has developed a drip.By screwing them in or out you can adjust the flow.Tightening the leaky one all the way in doesn't stop leak ( I know this cuts off all frow to the zone,I just wanted to check drip) I'm thinking unscrewing it completely and using teflon tape or compound on threads will fix problem. Is this the correct way to fix problem or is there a better way ????The manifold is a Safelink product. Thanks for reading

nope. not the way....
if you have one of the caps that belongs on it,re turn the valve to its setting, wrap a group of teflon tape 6 to 8 full wraps around it and tighten it down till it touches the pin, leave well enough Alone. call someone around to the house to fix it for you.0
