underground heating for snow

I was wondering has anyone tried to install anything to ease the burden of shovelling snow? is there a system that anyone would recommend to do this (no wise cracks about shovels) I have heard about people flipping on a switch and thier walk ways heat up to melt the snow. what is this called?

Snow Begone...its clearly the way to rid your self
of shoveling ..29.99 i havent invented it yet, buh when I Do ..Watch Out! it will be flying off the shelves .......right now it is limited to snow melt or a donation to some of the local Boy Scouts, or both.:)0
