air bound boiler

hi what can happen when a boiler has air in it will the boiler take longer to heat up.

my contrator just put a spirovent on my dhw part of my zone panel i have 3 zones 1 dhw one hydro air and one baseboard should this make the system run better

    spirovent belongs on header piping before takeoffs for any zones in order to work properly
