Anyone know where I can obtain a new replacement fire box for this boiler ?

If you can't find an \"exact replacement\"

one of the Lynn kits will probably work OK. We need to know whether it is a dry-base or wet-base boiler, what type of burner is in it, and what the firing rate is.

This is an oil fired wet base boiler. The firing rate is: 1/gal./ hour.

I like the Quickee

I've used quite a few of them. They're very well made and install easily, and will outperform any old-style chamber. You'd probably want the #1001, or if that one's too big to fit inside the boiler the #1004 will handle 1 GPH.

If your Kohler doesn't have a flame-retention burner, now is the time to upgrade. You could probably lower the firing rate by 20% or so and get the same heat output. Ask Firedragon or me how we know that!

Could you please steer me to a source of information for Lynn quickee products , like the ones you mentioned, #1001 and #1004. I would like to see some data, especially dimensions.

Most heating wholesalers have or can get them

you didn't say whether you are a contractor or not- if not, your contractor should be able to get them thru the wholesaler.
