I wished I lived a little closer, I'm down near New London, Ct. I would like to have helped you out with the Riello. I can speak the language [so to speak]

I have not yet had the opportunity to install the new beckett. I played with one at Beckett in Ohio w/ Alan Mercurio's oil tech talk U.

I work for a Mechanical contractor now and we do mostly piping and etc., not much new burners.

If Viessmann is installing it on the new boiler, that in itself says a lot to me. I would try one in a heartbeat.

Viessmann yes. Another project has come up and I'm thinking of proposing the Vitorond 100. It has the Becket NX.

At a Beckett seminar this past summer

I was told the NX would appear on certain boilers first, and would not be universally available like the AF series for another year or so. Seems this technology is different enough from the usual flame-retention that they want to test it especially thoroughly.

The one I'm waiting for is the NX-LE. This one has an extension to the usual air tube, made of a special high-temperature alloy, that the flame burns inside of. This sounds like it could solve a lot of firing-zone problems.......

    Beckett NX burner

Have fired well over a dozen Vitorond boilers with this burner and have found it to be a very smooth, VERY VERY quiet combo, easily adjusted, the sound is monotone,no pulsation at all, fired all sizes on the vitorond except the largest one.efficiencies at 88% to 89% with a zero smoke. have had to remove some baffles to increase the very low stack temps of about 280 to 300 degrees, leaving me with all installs at 86% to 87%, two call backs due to Nozzles, both Hago's. For the cost it is more than highly recommended
