LOL with a 40 gallon Pro Max that doesn't heat properly. Dip tube is fine. I ran hot water in the tub, then out the drain. Water was cold coming out the drain yet the gas valve didn't call for fire. So I assume it's a bad gas valve. She said she can run it out and hours later it finally comes on.
Do I need to go to an A O Smith supplier for exact valve or do they interchange?
