1 convector in customers house won't heat. Customer has lived in house for 7 years and always had this problem. Bled air from system it is not air bound. Removed convector and flushed with water it was clear. Flushed supply and return risers OK. All convectors piped in parallel. 1-1/4" supply and return mains with 1/2" branch cicuits. This covector is farthest from boiler about 90 ft. The Taco 110 pump is on the return side of the boiler. Not pumping away. Could this be the problem? Anyone have ideas? Thanks for helping.

Convector wont heat
Trying to answer my own question. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Total cicuit length (longest run) about 180 ft of 1-1/4" pipe. 180 ft ciruit equal to about 9 ft head. 1-1/4" pipe is good for 14 gpm, therefore I need a pump that can do 14 gpm at 9 ft head. Existing Taco 110 is good for 14 gpm at about 6-7 ft head. Taco 0010 pump is good for 14 gpm at 9 ft head. Am I correct or at least on the right track? I thought I would sell my customer the Taco 0010 and mount the pump on the supply.0 -
