Need Hot Water union 90s with radiator nipple.

I am in Columbus, Ohio, can't find any union 90's for hot water radiators. I need the nipple with the union joint on the 90 (male threads), then standard female connection to the rest of the system. The big supply houses in town can get the valves but can't find the 90s. I am looking for three (3) 3/4, and three (3) 1 1/4; again each with matching union nipples to screw into the radiators so I don't have to worry about leaks from a poor fit to something machined 60 years ago. Thanks in advance.

    They're still made

but I can't remember who made the last ones we got. Call around to different supply houses, especally those that also serve the East Coast. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

    Just bouhgt .....................

13 of the 3/4" ones. They are brass and made in Taiwan.I'm not real happy with the screw fit.The male end buries itself in the radiator bushing.I used teflon and paste dope.Time will tell.I purchased them from RJ Walker Supply in Scarnton PA.Tel#570-344-8221.I would also try Avco Supply. They are on the net. They're in Levittown PA..Also try Eastern Penn Supply Company (EPSCO) in Scranton PA.(also on the web)

    Kevin,

Our supplier carries them with the Legend name. See if any of the local suppliers deal with Legend and have them order them.

Like Cheese said, the fit is O.K. but not the best and I've found that the dope/tape/dope method works the best with them. Chris

I use radiator valves on both ends. I can get the valves for about half the cost of the 90's.

    Watts

is the parent of the Legend brand. Look in a Watts hydronic catalog.
