CO2 adjustments

I have a Burnham V83 with beckett burner, venting 5ft. of 6" pipe to a Sideshot SS1. The instructions for SS1 indicate that you must have a temperature going into the SS1 in excess of 250' after 5 minutes. Well, the higher I go on CO2 the lower the stack temperature, making the SS1 inlet less than 250'. I have the SS1 on #1 draft adjustment outside. The instructions also say not to run at a CO2 level that is less than a 1% reduction from the value measured at a trace of smoke and -.02 W.C. Not sure of the theory on that rule? Any suggestions on getting the SS1 inlet temp higher or must I just sacrifice efficiency to do so? tks

Two choices,
high CO2/low O2 or condense out the powerventer, kill it dead and have to replace it with no warranty.
High CO2/low O2 is useless unless everything makes sense, EVERYTHING!0
