I am changing a P204 from Plastic venting to Stainless Steel. I ordered the vent kit, and have that, the only other question I have, is do I have to install a "drip tee", to prevent any condensation from running back to the boiler? I would like to, but I would have to order it, and the homeowner would really like to have heat,if it is necessary, no problem, if not, I will vent it without.
Thanks in advance,
Chuck Shaw

If you are working on a Series 2PV then the vent pipe needs to pitch downhill to the outdoors from the initial riser elbow. If this is not possible then install a horizontal drain tee or vertical drain tee depending on your venting situation.
