Super Stor pump question

Member Posts: 4,832
Is a 007 big enough for a SSU45 or 60? I have a job where the Munchkin boiler won't rev up to full RPM on a basic 'call for hot water'. The Munchkin people said there isn't enough water flow...( I have a classic p/s on the muncher, so this 007 isn't even seeing the boiler). Perhaps I should do a pressure drop on my next job, but I thought I might find a good answer here!

Step Modulation
Gary,
On any call for heat, the Munchkin starts at mid range (trial for ignition), once it proves flame it drops down into low fire (unless it has the Vision 1 system, and then it will high fire for DHW). It then follows a six step modulation process up to high fire. The circulator on the Super-Stor has no impact on this. I will double check flow requirements for the indirect in the morning.
If you wish, give me a call tommrow, and I may be able to find a way to help you out.
