    srteam boiler

We do a lot of steam boilers and for my money, Weil Mclain is the best out there. but you'll get all kinds of arguments on that one. We have been using Weil's on steam for 25 years and never a problem. Can't say that for the other American made boilers.

Jesse, a good boiler is a good boiler

The most important thing is proper installation. No boiler will work well unless it is properly installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and diagrams.

That said, we install mostly Columbia boilers which are similar to Utica. We also see many Burnhams, Slant/Fins, Weil-McLains and a few Peerless and Dunkirk boilers. All seem to work well when properly installed.

We love the Burnham boiler but have put in a lot of Peerless as well.
