Where does the air get back in?

I have a steam system from the 1930s... It has been doing a really good job since I've lived here (7 years), but recently it has been developing a vacuum -10 to -20 psi. If the steam displaces the air, where does it come back in? I looked at the section on vacuum, but did not see anything that seemed to fit my situation. How do I diagnose the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Probably isn't a problem!
To have a system as tight as yours is great news. The vacuum hurts nothing and delays the heat cycle dramatically, minimizing peaks and valleys in the process.
The pressure should probably be looked at. Should be very low. Maybe as low as only 8 ounces.
Could it be a true vapor vacuum system?
Oh. Where does the system get filled back up with and where? air from the vent(s).
