i service a 30 unit building w/1 apt. that becomes air bound always i suspect i have a pin hole leak in one of the garden apts. the boiler has two 2 1/2 supply and return mains and a old steel expansion tank. is there some sort of spirovent or air elimination devise i can just install on the 1/2 inch cold water supply line or do i have to split the mains and install 2 seprate devices? this apt air binds about every other week. thanks in advance and happy holidays. jim murtaugh

Hey could you fit a float style vent on the loop in question? Also, does the old ceiling expansion tank have an air-trol fitting? I think Spirovent only makes air eliminators up to 2".. after that you cani go with a spirotherm or vortec air seperator (Flanged rather than ips)0
