Question about Modulating Boilers...

I have a basic question about the BTU output range of a modulating boiler such as the Vitodens. As an example, when you look at the technical data manual it states that the output of the WB2-832 is 33 to 101 MBH based on 140F supply and 120F return temperatures.

Does the modulation range change if you have a different supply temperature and/or a different delta T? If so, is there any easy way of figuring out what that range would be with a given temp and delta T?

Think you might be getting some ratings mixed up. Input ratings for the 8-32 are from 37 - 124 mbh. DOE heating capacity is from 33-112 mbh.

From clocking the meter on mine (6-24 model) the Vitodens is capable of output anywhere in its range.
