indirect water heater with electric backup

Is anyone aware of indirect water heater with electric backup elements. We have a lot of customers using wood boilers for heating, with indirect tanks for domestic water. Many would prefer not to burn, or are not permitted to burn during the non heating season, and would like to just have one tank.

I welded a fitting for a 1" thread-in electric element to the inspection cover plate on a Buderus horizontal indirect a while ago for backup. I am sure other indirects could be modified the same.

But most likely it is too expensive.0 -
Most of the solar tanks
have element holes. The old Ford stone lined did. I think Vaughn makes them now www.vaughncorp.com.
I believe Reem and Rudd still offer the Solarite indirect tanks tanks with element holes.
Maybe some of the HTP tanks.
I wouldn't suggest welding an opening IF you have a glass or stone lined steel tank as you will not be able to seal around the weld inside.
Perhaps a stainless tank, although I'll bet you void the warranty
