Pipe / furnace noise

My plumber installed a new gas-fired Burnham spacemaster and piping for a 3 story extension on my house. The furnace is on the second floor, and has 3 zones. Each zone services 6 raditors- 2 each on the 1,2 and 3 floors. Five radiators are baseboard cast iron - one is a baseboard tube. (See attached file for diagram)

My problem is the noise level. The cast iron radiators sound like they have air in them. I have bleed the radiators and there is very little air. The furnace when it is on sounds like a pump being primed. Both the radiators and the furnace are extremely LOUD, to the point that it wakes us up at night, even though it is on a different floor.

My plumber who installed this looked at it and says it is normal. Is this the case?
