It is so cold in Missouri

Cold on its way to the Swampeast (Southeast) section tomorrow. Another round of snow (4-10") predicted for this evening with blizzard conditions. Total average accumulation expected to be 14" with higher amounts right around the Cape Girardeau area. Brrrr! 19° and new Vitodens still chugging away at only about half output. Wind picking up, but anemometer froze in the freezing rain when event began so I don't know actual speed.

    It is so cold in Missouri today

    that the spoken words are falling to the ground frozen and you have to put them into a hot frying pan to hear what has been said.

    A dog lifted his leg to a tire and he has been standing there frozen to the tire ever since.

    Seriously we are expecting just above zero tonight and tomorrow. That's very cold for our area.

    last winter of note ....

    back in the 60's i was hitch hyking to a buddys house with some hootch ,when i met another guy frozen to the road who had been trying to spell his name in thesnow, so i went and got some fire wood to build a fire and thaw the guy out ...once the blue fire got going the flames froze and they fell to the ground and shattered....so i left him to be found in spring. it was like snake bite,..."well, I guess your gonna die"

    Yikes

    Round two starts with moderate rain at 21° air temp!!! Southern moisture and warm air is over-riding the cold front. Less than an hour away and of course mother-in-law needs me to go to the grocery store...

    There's a savvy choice...

    You coulda gave up your hooch to save the guy - but then you got a whiner crying over his frozen weiner tagging along. Better to keep the hooch - to share with your next ride!

    cold here too

    it was -35C in Fort MAc last night...

    thats colder than my ex-wifes heart!
