Air in Pipe

Last year I rerouted some of my hot water piping in the basement that supplies the baseboard heat. Now I am getting a lot of flow noise and gurgling from the second floor due to air in the pipe. Any suggestions on how to get it out. Can I put a vent in the pipe?

Air
I double checked and there is no vent. I was thinking of putting one in like one that you would use for an icemaker but am not sure if it would hold up to the heat.0 -
a saddel as it is called works .............
although it is more of a after think....an auto coin vent with a key requires more tools and pieces buh in the long run are more useful...so, yah they work buh opening and closing them too many times is where the devil lurks in the details....0 -
air
I was thinking I would only need to operate it a few times since I don't anticipate moving any more pipes. The only thing that held me back was that somehow someone got the air out another way0
