having problems with pre 925 199 munchkins after replacing blower motors with the "good ones". Have a hard time getting them to fire-off. Check ppm and set high and low above reccomended levels and still have problems on ignition, fluttering, and howling. Has anyone else come acrossed anything like this. Any help would be appreciated.

i am thinking of getting rid of this 662 and getting a munchkin

propane (LP gas) model...from my understanding they are well controlled and do provide reliable enough operation, there are lots of them sold,it may be you have one that has some sort of minor technicality, however first, you may only be in need of some help setting the burn on start up...why not call someone who likes the boiler and its operation to come over and fine tune it for you?
  • Munchkin Great Boiler

Look in your paper work find the number for HTP.Call
the and let them help you.If you are an experience installer and have knowledge of this terrific boiler, you wouldn't have a simple problem like this. You would have a efficient boiler delivering heat and happiness to your home.
    Happy Holidays.

Thanx for info I was just curious as to why after three years of install on these two boilers and five blower motors each which I may add ran fine until impellors came apart why with the 01617 series blower motors is there such a difference? Factory tells me offset needs adjusted why now? Have to install 925 control kit just to do this. Have experience with Munchkins I guess just not enough, thanx for all the help.
