How do you drain and clean a boiler
FHHO
Member Posts: 6
I had a pro come over to my house this morning to address a convector in a bedroom that does not get hot uless the thermostat is over 71 degrees.
He told me the my problem was my water in my boiler was very dirty and probably let to clogging up the the convector.
I figured If I'm goin to live in the house I should at least know to drain the boiler....So how do I drain the boiler? I have a 1 pipe steam system.

Hire a Pro....
or read the Owners Manual. If not available, look it up online. It illustrates how to clean a boiler. Too detailed to get into here though.
