Thermostat quest. Help please.

Mark Hunt

to find a thermostat that will monitor and control humidity as well as temperature. I need to add humidity, not remove it.

I quoted and sold 5 of the Honeywell 8900 series controllers, but I was informed today that they are now obsolete and no longer available.

Anyone have any ideas?

I looked at the White-Rogers site, but I am not able to open PDF files from that site for some reason.

Hi, Mark. I just found out about that today. That's a real bummer. I wish I had an alternative, since I have one in my own home. AAAARRRRGGGGHHH!

Sad part is


we were told that they were in stock, and in fact being shipped this week.

My customer is not happy.

This was a suprise to Honeywell, and they are not to blame.

I'll keep looking.
