Look what FedEx brought in...

Yesterday was my birthday so Shoma and I spent the day out and about, followed by watching the extended edition of The Return of the King (wheee!). I even got to drink Hefe-Weizen beer, or two, or three,.... life's little pleasures.

Anyway, in mid-afternoon, we happened to be home when the FedEx truck shows up with two boxes of stuff for me. Yay! Who could it be... aha, from Rhomar... Yay2!

One box is slightly worse for wear and (naturally) the FedEx guy claims innocence. From the looks of it, it must have rained or snowed somewhere along the way. Happily, the bottles inside the case were fine, as the second picture attests. Once the small leak in our main manifold has been fixed, I look forward to cleaning and conditioning the whole system.

Some of the best presents are the ones one gives to oneself... for everything else, there is a loved one. Happy holidays and a safe and prosperous new year to everyone.

    Happy B-day

You would not be surprised as to the condition of your package if you ever had the opportuninty to be at a Fed-ex or UPS facility and see the conveyer system and package handling. All I will say is anything I ship now has AMPLE protection for the contents and lots of tape on the bottom, top and around.

    Didn't you know

All courier Companys only hire washed up place kickers and wannabe b-ball players.
