Wayco Wayne and Multiple water temps....Boilerpro

Hope this helps. The water is supplied from the left from a conventional boiler with a thermix for temp protection. A tekmar 260 provides full reset to all water temps. The balance valves are at the right end of the rungs. If you do a little pre engineering, you could preset a bunch of ciruit setters to give you the proper temps with no guesswork. Just flip the switch and let it do its thing.
The second pic is a simpler two temp setup. Its a little confusing at first, but if you follow the water flow, you'll see how it works.

Wow!
I almost missed this. Things travel fast on the Wall. I like the thermix bypass valve setup. I'm still struggling on my piping design. I'm going to employ a vision 2 system with a munchkin. I will have the Indirst on priority, a hydrocoil straight from the boiler and a 140 temp loop for the radiant floor and the snow melt. I'd like a buffer tank but am not sure where to put it yet. I'll figure it out, but my mind moves slow. Thanks for sharing. A picture is worth a thousand words. WW

Was thinking
last night while lying in bed. I should put the buffer tank on the supply so I can get the coolest water back to the return of the munchkin. Also a 2 pipe would bring cooler temps back to the boiler than Primary Secondary. However if I go 2 pipe I would need to go with a bypass to make sure I get enough flow through the munchkin hx. I'm driving myself nuts. I only want it to be perfect and look good. Too much to ask. WW

Wayne...
You want to take off the indirect before the buffer.....
so you have to go with a P/S design. Pull te return right off of the bottom of the tank and feed the retrn from the loops right back in there also, that way it will pull the cold water coming back from the loops right back to the boiler.
Am I clear as mud???? I'll try to get some pics of a setup that I have.....
