Young Master Keeseman decided he couldn't wait the full nine months & must have wanted to see his new boiler on its birth date too! Thanks to Oil Heat Cares, Weil McClain, Slant Fin and the all-volunteer installation crew from Shipley Humble, Mother and child will have a warm, safe and comfortable home.

Sorry PAH, I must have missed this one.
Congratulations to Mom, and welcome to the newbie!
Maybe she will tell him the glorious stories of how he was kept warm after coming home, and get him to persue a career in the "Thermal Environmental Control Technician" trade. ( thanks Mr. Bean, I still think it's a cool moniker!).

It's an Oil Heat Cares
project that I'm following and photographing. Dan Holohan and Judy Garber (NAOHSM) came up with the idea to provide heating assistance (much like Habitat works) for those in need.
NAOHSM chapters supply the labor and Judy arranges material purchases through funds raised via events like the session in Baltimore a few weeks prior to ISH-NA.
This one is a heartwarming story where anything that could go wrong did and it looked like this single mom-about-to-be was going to lose everything she'd worked for. Chance and fate interviened, however, and lady luck (or maybe it's the spirit of Christmas) stepped in to put things back on track.

Dave,
thanks so much for making this happen. Merry Christmas.Retired and loving it.0 -
Excellent!
Merry Christmas and joy to all concerned!0 -
The gift of Chirstmas present, past and future....
reside in you! Were it not for you and your untiring dedication to raising the bar in our industry, this wouldn't be happening.
Seriously, if you'd decided to just watch a bird feeder or if Maryanne had simply been contented to live with sand mix that never set, the world would have been deprived of New York Cares and other worthy causes.
Instead, you have contended with smoldering coffee pots, curtains stitched to the floor and we have been priveledged to be a part of the collective "your" life's experience. For that, I am eternally gratefull.

Not me!
BTW, the best gifts a man could ever ask for were obviously already under the tree in your posted photo - Merry Christmas my friend(G).
Nope, I don't deserve any credit for this OHC project. Tis the players who should have praise heaped upon their shoulders. All I did was see to it this young gal got through the initial inspection phase and then I put the right people together.
Here's the faces of a few of santa's elves.

Congratulations and Merry Christmas to them, the young gal and to the "Elf" who put them together.0 -
Check this out
Dave,
My name is Jason. I met you at the
Shipley install today for the oil heat cares
install. I was the one that you took a pic
of kneeling down soldering the valve on the return line
on the boiler. I was wondering if possible
if you could email me that picture, I wanted
to show my wife. And maybe the one
of all of us standing out front
Thanks, It was a blast,
Jason
Well, here's Jason & his picture is a keeper! Great guy and one heck of a hard worker.
BTW, take a second to look around your local area. there's more than a few opportunities to extend a hand to those in need and you might just be lucky enough to meet a few Jasons in your neck of the woods. Nothing ventured - nothing gained!
