Has anyone used the new piping system that won best of show @ ISH? It is the new piping system for copper that takes no flame and no tools to crimp. You simply push it together. They are boasting 60% labor reductions.

We are looking for ways to reduce our labor in our installs. We are currently taking 12 - 16 hours to install a Munchkin with superstore indirect(this is replacing an 80% boiler). We are using black iron pipe for all of our primary secondary and air seperation. this takes a lot of time. The systems look great but we are pricing ourselves out of the market due to the labor involved. We have seen the new stands with everything premade but those also seem ver pricey. Any ideas for streamlining hydronic installs without sacraficing on quality? Thanks in advance.

I like you do most of all my systems in steel and even though there are producys like pro press and others that boost quicker labor times will those piping system last the test of time i also believe that what ever materal or systems used quality always takes time and sometimes a quick and easy install productin the long run don't pay off have you looked at the price of pro press fitting or vega fittings ? that's alot of coin i believe the only ones carring that stuff is graingers and with prices like that i'll stick to steel and sweating copper just me thoughs peace clammy
