Do you recognize this radiator?

Assuming I can attach the file, the radiator is about 12" deep by 10" high. I am looking for the heating rating.

You could probably figure between 2-1/2, to 3 square feet of
radiation each section. An average btu output per section would be 375 to 450 per hour (@170 degree water). These are available used, and/or reconditioned if you need another.

Do you have the ratings for this radiator or are you guestimating? If so what is the make?0 -
I am gestimating. I have a few charts
and I am being conservative w/ my guess.

Closest I See
In Dan's book "EDR" is the American Radiator "Aetna Flue Window Radiator". Ornamentation looks similar but it's hard to tell.
All were 12½" wide.
Ratings for various heights (from floor) and per section:
13" - 3 2/3 sq.ft.
14" - 4 sq.ft.
16" - 4 2/3 sq.ft.
18" - 5 1/3 sq.ft
20" - 6 sq.ft.
Manufacturers tended to keep their ratings of similar dimension/style very similar, so if one of the above is close, it's probably a very accurate estimate.0 -
I found this one in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts recently. I dont know much about it though.

That looks the same to me. Mine is in Geneva, NY. There is another one right next to this one, but there are no others like it in the building (house).0 -
Thanks. I'll see if I can follow up. The size is a little off though. My interest is mostly acidemic as we will probably remove it.0 -
You're right, Swampy
They are "Aetna Flue Window Radiators" made by American Radiator Co. These radiators appear in my 1911 and 1916 "Ideal Fitter" catalogs.
CGW, why would you want to remove this beauty?
