Condensate tank ,feed water tank problems HELP!!!!!

Hi Guys!!
I hope some of you can help us with a problem we have inherited. We are working at a church that someone else installed a new steam boiler in. The original boiler had a below grade condensate tank that pumped the condensate back into boiler. The return lines from the system come into the condensate tank below grade. The new installation included an above ground boiler feed water tank. They left the old tank in and working but when it pumps it pumps into the boiler feedwater tank, over filling it and flooding the boiler room.We are scratching our heads trying to figure out an easy way to remedy this problem short of breaking concrete and dropping the feedwater tank below grade.
Thanks,
Tony

tank trouble...
Can you replace the below ground tank? Can you do away with the above ground tank? Are the tank(s) large enough and if so why are they flooding? Does the system use an auto feeder? The new boiler probably has 1/5th the water content than the previous steamer and the installer (I'm guessing) installed a LWCO/waterfeeder new. The boiler fires, makes steam but the condensate isn't returning fast enough thus turning on the feeder before shutting down due to low water and when the cycle is done is over filling, sound right? If so, you need to measure the condensate returning (Gallons per) 10 min. 15 min. 20 min. ect.. Then and only then will you be able to size a boiler feed unit w LWCO able to interface...Robert O'Connor/NJ0
