Please help an adult you've never met take the next step in the working world by donating a book to New York Cares' GED Preparatory Projects. Volunteers from the New York City area tutor underserved adults at several different sites throughout the city in Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies skills in preparation for the GED exam. Education makes all the difference in our lives.

It's a small gift but it can make such a difference in someone's life, and there's a special beauty in helping someone you've never even met. You change the world in small ways.
