Added a couple of bricks...

Its the least I could do. What a great place this is, and what a bunch of helpful folks hang out here!

I've been lurking hereabouts for the better part of three months and have found the site to be invaluable. It all started because we moved into a new (to us) home last spring and I found myself confronted with hot water heat for the first time in my life (always been a scorched air guy). Feeling pretty ignorant, I set about to learn what I could about its care and feeding. Score one for the site! Next I decided I really needed a pro to check out my system before the heating season began, and hooked up with Dave Yates' firm using the "Find a Professional" feature. Score another point for the site!

But it gets better. My younger son had been kicking around various warehouse jobs since getting out of high school, getting basically nowhere. We'd been encouraging him to look into one of the trades, when I happened to stumble on one of Dave's columns online where he was bemoaning the lack of motivated young people interested in joining the trades these days. Long story short(er) - my boy is now F. W. Behler's newest apprentice, is well on his way to a real career, and is even talking about going back to school in the spring - nothing short of a miracle! And we owe it all to HeatingHelp.com... Hat Trick!

Thanks to Dan and the whole crowd, and especially to Mr. Yates for giving my boy a shot. I know he's in good hands. Like I said - buying a couple of bricks was the least I could do.

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday and a happy, healthy, and blessed New Year.

~Dale
