steam trouble

new steam boiler when boier comes up on steam preassher
water is pushed out the return then goes out on low water
the water feeder starts filling then water cames back
from the return and over fills the boiler so the boiler only runs for a short time

    Might be overfired

    said another way, pipe size too small for firing rate.

    Check the load size.
