Popular Mechanics wet heat article

Jan 2005 Popular Mechanics gives some interesting opinions on radiant heat. I always wonder who the editors talk to. They give new system WA install cost 2000sqft house as 5 to 8K$ and "professionally installed" hydronic floor system as 10 to 14K$. They do say you can save 2K$ by putting the tubing in yourself, they show a staple up with edpm rubber although they also mention Watts Radiant pex. The heating controls as panels is also interesting. No boilers shown. No wonder the average HO is confused.
