pex or pexalpex
enough to be dangerous

Besides personal installation preference is there any real performance advantage of either Bow oxypex (plain PEX pipe with an oxygen barrier) or Kitec piping for floor heating applications.
I can get either one and the Kitec is about 1.5x the cost of the Bow oxypex.

PAP or PEX
We use all PAP it's easier to roll out and the thermal cond. is higher then PEX.If it's bent in a 90 degree bend it stays there, a little less cuss-in on the job.0 -
Pex-Al-Pex:
No oxygen gets into the system. 1/7 the expansion rate of regular pex (no noise due to expansion). No chance of scraping off the outside oxygen barrier. Less labor to install. Pliable warm or cold. Retains it's shape.0 -
make sure you can get fittings
I like PAP, but out here it's much harder to get PAP fittings compared to PEX. If you don't have your local supplier stocking the whole range of fittings, it could be a real pain.
