wiring radiant

Hello, I purchased a Slant-fin S-90 Sentry boiler in anticapation of installing baseboard heat mid way I decided to switch to radiant and purchased a system. Ok here's my question, the boiler comes with a honeywell controller: flue damper, aquastat, circulator pump, thermostat. The radiant system comes with a NIX single zone controller: circulator pump, thermostat. I'm using a 4 way mixing valve so the water returning to the boiler isn't to cool. I'll piggyback the wiring on the pumps so they'll work together, how should I wire the thermostat, ie: split it between the controllers or is there some way of jumping the boiler to the radiant controller?

radiant wiring
Jack, I don't use SlantFin boilers, but a boiler is a boiler and depending on what you use for a control, the radiant controller should have an end switch to send the signal to the boiler. You didn't mention domestic hot water, but your controller should handle that, too. We use a lot of TEKMAR controls, and there are few systems you can't wire into one and they all have boiler contacts to start the boiler. Wire the stats in to the controller and only the end switch to the boiler.
Good luck.

pri-sec-injection with a tekmar 361 is a great way...
i happen to be very happy with slant fin boilers, but if you pipe it pri/sec/injection with a tekmar 361 (or 362 if you are going to also do indirect domestic hot water)
that setup will more than pay for itself - the tekmar 362 can also control your 4way mixing valve should decide not to do pri/sec/injection
please.please.please - read these before you do anyting else

DHW is provided via a Bosch tankless heater, one day I'll opt for the indirect water heater. The NIX controller has end switch terminals so my thinking is go from thermostat terminals on boiler to the end switch terminals on controller??? Maybe yes?0 -
sounds...
like a plan...kpc
