This past week a new customer of mine tried to make a warranty claim against a certain, well-respected boiler manufacturer. One of the sections was leaking after only seven years.
Rep showed up and blamed the installation, as did my partner, who was on the scene.
Customer asked the rep what he thought of Burnham boilers for a replacement. Although I thought it was an odd question to ask the rep from boiler "A", I thought his reply was even more odd.
"Burnham is a cheap boiler. If you're not going to go with MY company next time, I'd rather see you with a Utica."
