Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    No I haven't.

  • sharkbite vs propress

    Eleft,

for me it looks like a quick and simple solution for all the "no solder" fittings and also to adapt coppper to pex... or even fix a problem "under water."

Just looking for input. I had a salesmen here at my desk trying to sell me on them.

    thanks,

    steve
  • Oh come on now,,,

Would you REALLY trust this fitting above the master suite (3rd floor) with an artist's painted ceilling below? What about the antique furnishings? Then why even in the basement near a floor drain? In the wall on spec built houses?Sweat the darned fitting!!! It's not that hard to do. Sleep at night. What hve we come to when we don't even want to get out the tourch? You could also Pro-Press it.Not bad. New Stab-on-O ring fittings? O really now. Not in my clients house.

    Time will tell.
