stair climbing hand trucks

I am considering buying, but not sure which model? One version has the wheels moving up the stairs and the other uses what looks like cogs to grab the stairs. If anyone has either in use please give me your input. Also direction where to purchase. They also offer different dimesions on the lift plate, 30" seems like the right choice for boilers and tubs. Thanks for all responses.

We have the walking one with the moving wheels. I had to cut the toe plate off several inches because a 30" plate won't fit through many basement doors.
The walking mechanism also has a tendency to drag on the tip of stair treads, I'm not sure how a fine finish would stand up to that.
DO NOT use trackingpaper to keep stairs clean, better to buy new carpet than risk a trip down the stairwell with a boiler when the paper slips.
I'd be interested to know how gentle the cog design is on a stairs, too.

I love mine. It loads and unloads boilers from the truck w/o any faux steps. 600# boiler, 2 guys, no sweat.

    powermate

i personally have a powermate its got this tough like nylon on the back side of the plate so when you have a load on the handtruckit wont scratch the stairs and they dont slide around also with the powermate when your moving boilers and you need to stop while on the stairs you can just move the wheels up or down to find the center of gravity and you can leave the thing on the stairs oooooohhhhh its mint youll see
