Blog
Dan
The Blog is another great addition ,,,,,,,,,,,and thank you for the link to The Making of America,,,,,I spent just a few minutes there last night, just enough to get hooked, only to have to leave,,,,,,,,,Opened an article on, "The Need of Trade Schools" very interesting read. In one section & I quote "It is often said that American parents are not desirous of having their children learn trades."
"Placing boys during ten hours a day with men of whose antecedents nothing is known is undoubtedly objectionable"
The article was written in 1886! We as an industry, have no one else to blame we have created,,maintained and failed to change our image, since the very beginning. Hows that go ? When you fail to learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it!
I started in this trade in 1978, you know,,, when all young people no longer wanted too, or new how to work hard. I hear those exact same words today, from the people whom it was directed towards then, it was not true then & it is not true now. We have some great young employees, who work hard & are eager to learn. We need to build not condemn.
Thank you Dan,,,,,For being an ambassador of the industry & accentuating the positive side

Yup the dark side
I will be a faithful blogger, is there a badge or pledge or a special handshake,,,,,,,,it is a great addition, enjoyed the conductive concrete link also,,,,,,,,,and for the plumbers out there, you may find this hard to believe, but i found last night while searching The Making of America ,,,,,that the first air shock, hammer arrestor was designed in 1797, who da thunk0 -

I've seen the light, it's coming in very bright
It took me a while, but I found the link. It really was too obvious...
In my defense, I must say it seems the banner does not always appear (neither does the buy a brick part either). More often than not, the banners stop at click here to find a professional. Then comes the orange bar and the posts.
I hope I am not doing something bad.
Thanks for everything.
