remotaire room conditioners

We have a hydronic forced air heating system original to our house (built in 1951)called "Remotaire Room Conditioners". Each vent has an individual fan on the bottom, and heating coils on the top. When we installed a new boiler the forced air part of the system stopped working. Our contractor doesn't seem to have much of a clue about how this works. Any suggestions?

power of deduction
what did he change? wiring? water flow? water temp? lots of questions almost impossable to answer without looking art it. Really shouldn't be too difficult though sounds almost like a toespace heater wall mounted in each room. the exact brand doesn't really matter they all operate on the same basic principal.

more details
Brian,
what does "stopped working" mean in more detail. Does the fan turn on/off by the thermostat? Does the coil get hot water? Can you trace the pipes from the boiler out the the coils and feel what parts of it are getting hot or not? Can you take and post a few pictures of the boiler and near boiler piping?
These are the things that will be needed to understand what is working and not.
