Steam Valve

One possibly two of my steam valves are blocked.Model Vent-rite 35. Located on a nipple, above the main pipe (one pipe system). I am having a devil of a job trying to remove it, to either boil in vinegar as suggested previously or replace it.I do not know how long it has been there. Any suggestions.
Also have tried thread tape to stop a leak at the gate valve connection to the radiator, but to no avail.Should I be using something else? Lastly is there a cost friendly place to replace both Model 1 & 35 valves on line?

WD40 and a long wrench. You can buy those vent rites online. Just type in your search engine vent rite and It will come up.
hope this helps.
