I need to repair the plaster behind a two pipe radiator.
The system is operating at about 3 lbs.
Can I shut off the radiator at the valve and remove it? DO I need to cap the return line or just duct tape it closed.
When I re-install the radiator do Ineed to do anything to the boiler or system.
THANKS

Rad removal
I've removed the valve, rad, and trap and temporarily capped the pipes. Lets you do the job right. Then just reinstall. Don't use thread dope with oil, just teflon tape. The oil will find its way back to the boiler and make trouble.0
