Gorton valves ,where to purchase? none in albany NY

Good morning ,

again many thanks for all the help, my system is running pretty good as I found a ton of little problems that all added up to a noisy and inefficient system .

last but not least I would like to replace most of my vents

unfortunatly while correcting problems I was forced to use hardware store vents and they are lousy at best.

I had all gorton vents in another house I had and they worked great. these crummy hardware store vents have problems weekly. Ive also used vent rite and they were better but not much.

I live in the Albany NY area, I galled Gorton and Ken advised me that there are no distributors upstate that he knows of. so if anyone knows where I can buy gorton online I would welcome it.

The two plumbing distributors that I get most my stuff from , one carries vent-rite which are as mentioned Ok but not great and the other proffesional supply house carries the same cheap brand of vent that home depot carries.

Im sure gorton would sell direct if I run out of options.

They seem to be the cheapest place going. I just ordered some main vents and fittings from them. The order processed well and was a lot cheaper than other net vendors I could find.

Also, they ship out of Maspeth, NY (Long Island) so it shouldn't take long for a UPS ground shipment to get to you.

I asked them and they told me they can supply Gorton #2 vents, even though they're not listed in their online catalog. Didn't get their price, though. Give them a call if you're interested.
