Good Day Glenn,
What do you suggest using on the push nipples for 9A cast iron baseboard to facilitate drawing the sections together??
Thank you,
Bill Hobbie

Used to recommend
using an oil-based nipple lube. This was the same lubricant that was shipped out with the Knock-down boiler assembly kits. We are now using a lubricant sealer from Loc-tite that is white in color and remains pliable for many years to come. I will check on this tommorrow afternoon as soon as I finish up with the group I am training down here in Southern Jersey.

The new nipple lube is much better than the old stuff you always had to mix and mix to get it to proper state. Make sure to clean nipple ports with pipe sandpaper before putting nipples in and lube both nip and port.0 -
The new lubricant
that we use is LocTite #592. It is white in color and remains pliable. Hope this helps.
